smart snacking

The key to losing weight the smart and healthy way is to substitute meals, not skip them, something that’s specially true of ‘small’ meals, such as appetizers and snacks. Being hungry between meals is OK, just cut back on pastries, baked goods and sweets, and find a healthier alternative.

Here is a list of foods, including calorie contents, which are ideal substitutes to the more troublesome choices:

-1 bowl of grapes: 100 calories.

-1 medium banana: 100 calories.

-1 medium apple: 70 calories.

-2 cups of popcorn (without butter or oil): 65 calories.

You’ll find plenty of other appealing and healthy options on our app. Try to always surround yourself with these healthy choices: keep them on a small platter in the kitchen, or simply throw them in your bag or backpack before you leave the house.
