Tuna with Onions and Wild Rice

Ingredients

  • 50 g Wild rice
  • 1 Clove of Garlic
  • 1 Medium-sized Onion
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 0.5 Tsp Dried oregano
  • 0.25 Cup White wine
  • 90 g Tuna
  • 1 Pinch Paprika
  • 1 Pinch Black pepper

Preparation

  1. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to cook the wild rice (15-20 minutes).
  2. In the meantime, cut the garlic and onions and lightly fry in oil over low heat.
  3. When done, add the oregano and wine.
  4. Pepper the tuna, add it to a pot with the paprika and cover with water. Cook about 10 minutes over medium heat to make the tuna juicy and tender.
  5. Serve on a plate with the onion sauce and garnish with the strained wild rice.
