Ingredients

  • Half Cup of Whole-grain rice
  • Half Medium-sized Onion
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 150 g Chicken breast fillet, skinless
  • Half Medium-sized Orange
  • 3 Tbsp Skimmed milk
  • 1 Pinch White pepper
  • 1 Pinch Nutmeg

Preparation

  1. Cook the rice in a saucepan with a cup of boiling water for 15 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, chop the onion and sauté in a pan with a tablespoon of oil. When it starts to brown, add the fillets and the juice from half an orange. When they are done cooking, add the milk, pepper and nutmeg.
  3. Serve the chicken à l’orange with the brown rice.
