Baked Bream with Sliced Potatoes and Salad

Baked Bream with Sliced Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 Small Whole fresh Sea Bream (or Snapper fish)
  • 4 Medium-sized Potato
  • 1 Pinch Black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp Vinegar
  • 6 Clove of Garlic
  • 1/2 Tsp of Parsley
  • 1 Medium-sized Onion
  • 200 g Romaine lettuce
  • 2 Medium-sized Tomato
  • 2 Medium-sized Cucumber
  • 2 Tbsp Light mayonnaise

Preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180º C. Peel and slice the potatoes and onions.
  2. Clean the bream and place on top of the potatoes and onions in a large baking pan. Add pepper to taste and a tablespoon of oil. Bake at 180º C for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Remove from the oven and sprinkle some vinegar on top.
  4. Peel the garlic cloves, cut them into slices and brown in a pan with a tablespoon of oil, being sure not to burn it. Add some minced parsley.
  5. Pour the sautéed garlic over the bream and serve with lettuce, tomato and cucumber salad with a light mayonnaise dressing
